ALLERAIR 6000 AH - PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The AllerAir 6000 AH Exec whole-house air purifier handles a wide range of pollutants that contribute to poor indoor air quality. With its superior filtration system, the AllerAir 6000 AH Exec is an excellent choice for general air cleaning in smaller homes of up to 1,500 sq. ft., removing pollen, dust, mould spores, pet dander and dust mite by-products, as well as other harmful airborne particulates (e.g., particles produced by combustion appliances). When used in conjunction with portable air purifiers in key rooms of the house, regular duct cleaning and other steps to minimize the production of household allergens, the AllerAir 6000 AH whole-home system can help to provide some much-needed relief to allergy and asthma sufferers.

Unlike many other whole-house air purification systems on the market, the AllerAir 6000 AH Exec air purifier is also capable of capturing toxic chemicals and harmful gases in the house that can cause long-term health issues with prolonged exposure. This is achieved by the AllerAir 6000 AH’s powerful filtration system, which contains 24 lbs. of activated MAC-B™ carbon to adsorb chemicals, gases and odours, providing full-spectrum air cleaning for smaller houses. The AllerAir 6000 AH Exec also features a 45 sq. ft. medical-grade HEPA filter that eliminates 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns. In addition, a pre-filter is used to trap larger particles and prevent them from entering the system, thus helping to maintain the effectiveness of both the HEPA and carbon filters.

The AllerAir 6000 AH Exec whole-house air purifier is simple to maintain (the pre-filter can be easily removed and vacuumed), and because it uses individual HEPA and carbon filters, they can be changed at different time intervals, making the air purifier economical to operate. The AllerAir 6000 AH Exec also features an all-metal housing that eliminates toxic off-gassing and a baked-on powder-coated finish for safety and durability.

The AllerAir 6000 AH Exec whole-house air purifiers can be purchased with several upgrades or enhancements:

• AllerAir 6000 AH Vocarb. With its specially impregnated activated carbon, the AllerAir 6000 AH Vocarb model is designed to provide additional protection from formaldehyde, benzene, vinyl chloride and other Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) produced by common household products, newly-built or recently renovated homes, paint, flooring, carpets, upholstery, drapery, office equipment and art and hobby materials.
• AllerAir 6000 D AH. Both the Exec and Vocarb units are available as ‘D’ models that contain more carbon (28 lbs.) and a deeper carbon bed for even greater chemical, gas and odour adsorption.
• AllerAir 6000 AH UV. A germicidal ultraviolet (UV) lamp can be added to any AllerAir 6000 AH air purifier to sterilize bacteria, viruses and other airborne pathogens as they pass through the unit. The UV models will also eradicate mould spores, as opposed to simply capturing them in the HEPA filter.

All AllerAir 6000 AH Series whole-house air purifiers are supplied with intake and exhaust flanges, and 8 feet of 6” flex hose. They are complete and ready for installation by a professional contractor.
