Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal, along with Debit for in-person sales. Unfortunately, we do not accept personal cheques. All prices are in Canadian funds and exclude applicable sales taxes and shipping charges.

For large volume corporate and government sales, we offer terms of Net 30 days from date of invoice on approved credit. A late charge of 1.5% per month will be applied to all unpaid balances over 30 days.

Until paid in full, all products remain the property of Modern Alchemy Air Purifiers Inc., and title will not pass.

Product Availability

We stock our most popular brands and models, but due to the large variety of colours and styles available, some items are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Typically, Austin Air, IQAir, Blueair, Epurair, Airfree and I Can Breathe! products are shipped 1 to 3 business days after receiving your order.

AllerAir and Electrocorp products are custom-built to order and are usually shipped 5 to 14 business days after receiving your order.

Specialized units, industrial models, custom carbon blends, certain colours and large quantities could take longer. The delivery time is usually 1 to 5 business days after the item is shipped, depending on where you are located. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about product availability or delivery times.

Shipping

For a limited time only, we are offering Free Shipping on all Austin Air, Blueair, AllerAir, Epurair and IQAir air purifiers, and on all Airfree air sterilizers. Free Shipping offer good in Canada (Northern and remote areas excepted) and the contiguous United States. Offer excludes filters, accessories and Electrocorp products.

We are happy to ship our products anywhere in Canada or the contiguous United States. Shipping charges for our air purifiers vary depending on the size and weight of the unit ordered, the delivery destination and the shipping method. Typically, ground shipment charges are:

Because shipping costs vary so greatly, we will always inform you of the shipping charges before we collect payment. If purchasing online, shipping charges will be displayed in your shopping cart before proceeding to checkout.

Note: For customers located in Northern Canada or remote areas that are subject to higher than normal delivery costs, we will contact you to discuss the most economical way of getting the product to you.

Return Policy

Austin Air, Blueair and Airfree:  In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your Austin Air, Blueair or Airfree product, we offer a 30-day, money-back guarantee.

AllerAir, Epurair and Consumer IQAir Units (i.e., HealthPro and GC models):  Any unopened air purifier may be exchanged or returned within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Opened air purifiers can also be returned or exchanged within 30 days, but are subject to a 25% restocking charge (based on the original purchase price, excluding taxes and shipping).

Electrocorp and Professional IQAir Units (i.e., Cleanroom H13, GCX and Dental models):  No returns or exchanges.

Note that in all cases, it is your responsibility to ship the unit back to the manufacturer at your own expense and that all filters and accessories are considered final sale.

Absolutely no exchanges or refunds will be accepted on products after 30 days, or on any products that have incomplete packaging, missing components, or have been cosmetically or otherwise damaged in any way.

Return Process

If you wish to return or exchange a unit, you must email us in advance to let us know why you are returning the item. Include your full name, address, telephone number and invoice number (or date of purchase). We will then provide you with information on where to send the unit. It is your responsibility to ship the unit back to the manufacturer at your own expense.

In order to prevent possible transport damages and to secure your rights to receive an exchange or refund, units must be returned packed exactly as they were received. The unit must be shipped back in the original packaging and insured. Modern Alchemy Air Purifiers Inc. does not refund shipping, handling or insurance charges for returned or exchanged products.

Once the item has been received and inspected, we will issue a refund or exchange. All refunds will be issued via the original method of payment. If you are exchanging an item, we will contact you about the remaining balance owed or refund being issued (if the cost of the new unit is more or less than your original item), and inform you of your options to have the new unit shipped to you.

Warranty

Our air purifiers come with some of the best warranties in the industry:

If you have a warranty claim, simply email us to let us know about the problem you are experiencing. Include your full name, address, telephone number and invoice number (or date of purchase). We will then provide you with information on where to send the unit. Package the product carefully, enclose a copy of your original receipt and ship it with insurance. It is your responsibility to ship the unit at your own expense. We will have the unit repaired by the manufacturer and shipped back to you at no charge.
