IQAir HealthPro Series Replacement Filters
IQAir HealthPro Series air purifiers use either two or three individual filters, depending on the model. All IQAir HealthPro models use a PreMax pre-filter [1] designed to last for 6 to 18 months, and a HyperHEPA filter [4] designed to last for 2 to 4 years, with the exact lifespan of each filter dependant upon the concentration of contaminants in the room.
If you own a HealthPro Plus or have upgraded your HealthPro, your unit also uses a V5-Cell filter [2 & 3] containing granular activated carbon and alumina pellets, which requires replacement every 1 to 2 years.
IQAir’s Intelligent Filter Life Monitor takes the guesswork out of filter replacement by indicating the status of each filter and when it needs to be changed.

IQAir GC Series Replacement Filters
All IQAir GC Series air purifiers use an H11S pre-filter [1] designed to last for 6 to 18 months, and four post-filter sleeves [4] that wrap around each gas cartridge, designed to last for 1 to 3 years. The exact lifespan of each filter depends on the concentration of contaminants in the room.
Each air purifier in the IQAir GC Series also uses one of four different types of gas phase filter cartridges [2 & 3], which require replacement every 1 to 3 years:
- MultiGas – For wide spectrum control of organic and inorganic gaseous chemicals;
- VOC – For enhanced control of dangerous Volatile Organic Compounds and solvents;
- AM – For specific control of ammonia, amines and ammonium compounds; and
- Chemisorber – For specific control of formaldehyde, hydrogen sulphide, nitric oxide and sulphur dioxide.
To determine which type of gas cartridge is used in your IQAir air purifier, consult your original receipt, or open the unit and check the label on one of the cartridges. You can either replace the gas cartridges with the same ones, or install different ones if your needs have changed, as the four types of cartridges are completely interchangeable.
Your IQAir air purifier requires a set of four of these gas cartridges to operate (e.g., four MultiGas cartridges for a MultiGas GC unit, four VOC cartridges for a VOC GC unit, etc.).

IQAir PF40 Coarse Dust Pre-Filtration Kit and Replacement Filters
For environments where elevated levels of dust and other particulate matter is present (i.e., ceramic studios, bakeries, dental labs, aviaries and kennels), the IQAir PF40 Coarse Dust Pre-Filtration Kit is available and can be added to any IQAir air purifier. The PF40 kit makes your unit's standard pre-filter element more efficient and cost effective by capturing coarse dust and larger particles before they can enter and obstruct the airflow through the pre-filter.
The PF40 kit consists of an upper grille that screws into the base of your existing IQAir air purifier. A synthetic coarse dust filter pad is held in place by a lower grille that is secured by four clips. The 1/2 inch deep non-woven design of the PF40 filter pad ensures excellent coarse dust filtration. The filter pad may be washed several times before it needs to be replaced, and does not affect the air flow rates of your air purifier.

IQAir Perfect 16 Series whole-house air purification systems use a set of 4 micro-fibre filters that need to be replaced every 3 years based on a 50% duty cycle. If you operate your furnace fan continually all year long, then the filters should be replaced every 1½ to 2 years.
