The Austin Air HealthMate HM 400 combines two proven filter technologies to provide the best overall performance in an air purifier for larger rooms. The Austin Air HealthMate HM 400 is recommended for allergy and asthma sufferers to help remove a variety of airborne triggers, including dust, pollen, mould spores and pet dander. It is also an excellent choice for the control of harmful airborne pollutants (e.g., particles produced by radon and combustion), toxic chemicals and gases, and unpleasant odours.
The Austin Air HealthMate HM 400 air purifier features a Permafilt pre-filter that is designed to be easily vacuumed from the outside, making this unit simple to maintain and eliminating costly 3-month pre-filter changes. The Austin Air HealthMate HM 400 uses a combined medical-grade HEPA and 15 lb. activated carbon/zeolite filter that only needs to be replaced once every five years. This air purifier also features a perforated 23 gauge steel, 360 degree air intake housing with over 5 square feet of intake area for exceptional air gathering capability, three fan speed settings, and a louvered air flow output directed to one side from the upper deck.
The Austin Air HealthMate HM 400 is perfect for open concept living spaces, large bedrooms, apartments and offices. It is also an ideal choice for those who wish to operate an air purifier at a lower fan speed to minimize noise while maintaining high effectiveness.
