The Austin Air Bedroom Machine is Austin Air’s newest and most advanced air purifier, combining multiple proven filter technologies to offer a safe and effective solution for enhanced sleep and improved respiratory health. By using a sophisticated 5-stage filtration system, the Austin Air Bedroom Machine provides wide-spectrum air cleaning, removing not only airborne pollutants that are commonly found in the bedroom (e.g., dust, pollen, pet dander, mould spores, dust mites), but the harmful chemicals and fumes produced by personal hygiene and grooming products (e.g., hair spray, deodorant, nail polish, makeup remover), dry cleaning, drapery, carpets and new furniture. • Stage 1 consists of a Permafilt pre-filter that removes large particles (e.g., dust, hair) from the air and is designed to preserve the life of the more expensive HEPA and carbon filters. The pre-filter can easily be vacuumed from the outside of the unit, making it simple to maintain and eliminating costly 3-month pre-filter changes.
• Stage 2 consists of a medium particle pre-filter that removes small to medium sized airborne pollutants (e.g., pet dander, pollen, mould spores), providing further protection for the main HEPA and carbon filters.
• Stage 3 features 15 lbs. of proprietary blended activated carbon, specifically engineered to remove chemical fumes, toxic gases and unpleasant odours.
• Stage 4 consists of 60 sq. ft. of true medical-grade HEPA material to capture smaller particles (e.g., dust mites, ultra-fine dust), removing 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns from the air.
• Stage 5 uses a High Efficiency Gas Arrestance (HEGA) carbon cloth filter to provide added protection against any remaining chemicals and gases
