ALLERAIR 5000 DX EXEC - PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The AllerAir 5000 DX Exec air purifier is a heavy-duty unit that is ideally suited for commercial applications or places where large concentrations of hazardous airborne chemicals and odours are present within a confined space. The AllerAir 5000 DX Exec features an extra-deep carbon bed to provide the longer “dwell time” necessary for optimum adsorption of toxic gases and chemical fumes, as well as for effective odour abatement. In fact, with 27 lbs. of activated carbon, this air purifier contains more carbon than any other non-industrial unit on the market, providing almost 3,400 acres of available surface area for adsorption.

The AllerAir 5000 DX Exec features a Prodense pre-filter to trap larger particles, significantly extending the life of the more expensive HEPA and activated carbon filters. The AllerAir 5000 DX Exec’s micro-HEPA filter is capable of removing 99% of airborne particles (e.g., dust, mould spores, pollutants from combustion appliances) down to 0.1 microns, while the 3.5” extra-deep, 27 lb. carbon filter increases “dwell time” enabling more effective adsorption of airborne chemicals, gases and odours. An optional ultraviolet (UV) germicidal lamp can also be added to this air purifier to help control airborne microbes (e.g., bacteria, viruses).

The AllerAir 5000 DX Exec air purifier is easy to maintain (the pre-filter can easily be removed and vacuumed), and because it uses individual HEPA and carbon filters, they can be changed at different time intervals, making this air purifier economical to operate. In addition, the activated carbon used in the filter is consumer-refillable for even greater savings. Although the AllerAir 5000 DX Exec is designed for heavy-duty commercial applications, many people purchase it for use in homes where high levels of chemical fumes or strong odours are present.
